West Bengal: Office Welcomes a 50% Labor Increase to Work

Kolkata: The company office prepares to accommodate more employees with an increase in attendance guidelines from July announced by the Head of the Minister of Mamata Banerjee.
The state government has enabled the office to operate with a 50% workforce, maintaining Covid guidelines, from 25% earlier.
Some previous offices are arranged for transportation for employees, while others only ask employees who have their own transportation to attend the office.
Accelerated Some public transportation can also be useful for the company’s office.
“Until now we intend to maintain the presence of a minimum office.
We are reviewing the situation every two weeks and if there is an increase, we will increase the presence,” said ITC spokesman.
Berger MD and CEO of Abhijit Roy said if the workforce increased to 50% then it would also adjust.
Before the limit, it works with a capacity of 50% and it can continue now.
“We still call people who have their own transportation,” he added.
Chairman of the Merlin Group, Sushil Mohta, said it was a welcome step.
“In my office, almost all vaccinated.
With the resumption of public transportation, travel problems will also be resolved.
The presence of 50% will also solve problems related to balancing labor,” he added.
Director of Haldia Petrochemical Subhasendu Chatterjee, who is also Deputy Chairperson of the Bengal Bengal Cii State Council, said all staff in their office (HPL) were vaccinated.
“Now we will be able to call more people.
The opening of public transport will be very helpful,” he added.
Namit Bajoria, MD Kutchina, said Monday announcement will increase business.
“Also, the more corporates have been able to vaccinate their staff so that they create a stress-free environment,” he added.
In the IT and ITES sectors, many companies will continue WFH as employee welfare is a top priority for their management.
