Kolkata: DNA analysis of the Lion Cub, saved in Belghoria Expressway by the Forest Department and the Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCCB) while smuggled in June 2019, has revealed it comes from a hybrid with a lineage from Asiaatic and African lions.
