West Bengal post-poll violence: Kolkata Authorities Inquiries Mithun Chakraborty

NEW DELHI: DELHI and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty was contested nearly by Kolkata Police in connection with a complaint alleging that he had incited post-poll violence during his addresses while stirring for the West Bengal assembly election.
An FIR was registered at Maniktala contrary to his address.
The complainant maintained in his FIR the performer had used dialogues such as”marbo ekhane lash porbe shoshane” (Can hit you here along with the human body will land at the crematorium) and also”ek chobole chabi” (just one snakebite and you’ll become a photo ) in a rally after he joined the BJP on March 7.
The federal award winning actor was accused of promoting enmity between different classes, an intentional insult to provoke breach of peace, also creating statements conducing to people mischief.
Clashes were reported in many areas in the country after the announcement of meeting survey results on May 2.
Chakraborty claimed the utterances of these movie dialogues were recreational and he is innocent and in no manner correlated with any offence as alleged by the complainant.
Last week that the Calcutta high court had led Chakraborty to offer his email address into the nation so he can make himself accessible by means of video conference.
Hearing a request from the federal award-winning celebrity for quashing of their case filed against him in a town police station, the court had directed that the investigating officer to pay for a fair period to Chakraborty because of his look by means of a video conference.
