West Bengal reported 784 new Covid-19 cases, 6 deaths

Kolkata: Tally Covid-19 in West Bengal increased to 15.74.801 on Friday after the country reported 784 new cases, the health department said in a bulletin.
The death toll rose to 18,882 after six more people gave up on infection.
Bulletin also said 746 patients recovered from infection in the last 24 hours and the recovery rate was 98.32 percent.
As many as 15.48, 294 people have recovered from the disease so far.
The country now has 7,625 active cases.
Two fresh deaths each were recorded in 24 pargana and North Nadia Regency.
One death was reported from Kolkata and Darjeeling.
New cases include 158 from Kolkata and 128 of the 24 North Parneras.
Since Thursday, 38,069 samples were tested for Covid-19 in the state, taking the total number of clinical examinations to 1,84,35,532, said Bulletin.
6.19 Crore people have received at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine in the state.
It is estimated at 11,42,256 people inoculated on Friday.
