Kolkata: West Bengal Education Minister Bratya Basu said that the state supports opening school but cannot risk anything with the lives of students so that the decision will be taken by the Head of the Minister of Mamata Banerjee at the right time.

The decision will be taken by the minister’s chairman,” said Basu while inaugurating a new project – ‘Environment Class’ – a project to conduct classes in the environment on Monday.

He also asked the City Government, Panchayats, Environmental Committee and Education Committee to advance and help teachers so that this unique government scheme could be successful.
Talking about the issue of school opening, the Minister of Education said: “The school will be opened immediately and the head of the Minister will receive the last phone”.
