Midnapore: West Midnapore Health Official on Tuesday began investigating after class IX students were given two doses of vaccines in rapid succession in a camp at Debra’s Aloke Kendra Secure School on Monday.
Students undergo medical examinations at Debra Hospital and are fine, said health officials.
According to students Umesh Parh, he went to the school vaccination camp on Monday.
“There are two counters.
During Tiffin’s break, I have stepped into one and was vaccinated and handed over the slip.
I stepped out when an official from the second counters wanted to know if I had a vaccine.
I said yes, but they took the slip and gave me the second dose .
They thought I was scared and said yes, “he said.
Umesh Uttam Father Kumar Parh said, “As soon as we hear it, we immediately told school and asked for help.
If something happens, the school will be responsible solely.” The Principal of Nikhil Mondal said, “The problem has been reported to us.
We have contacted health officials.
He was originally checked and found stable at all parameters.
Today, he was asked to go to Debra Hospital to finish the examination.
Until now he is fine only.

Head of the West Midnapore Medical Officer Bhuban Chandra Hansda said, “The problem has arrived at our notification.
Probe has been ordered to know how this happened at first.
Students are undergoing examinations and all the parameters are fine until now.”
