Kolkata: The State Health Department prepares to start six new medical colleges in Bengal in 2022, which was issued to start recruitment in 1,464 posts for this medical college in Uluberia, Jhargagh, Tamluk, and Jalpaiguri, each of which has 100 MBBS student intake , Mission 9 July stated that the state government was committed to establishing six new medical colleges.

1,464 posts made for six colleges covering the six post headmaster and six MSVP along with 36 Poss Professor, 120 Post Professor Associate, 156 posts Assistant Professor, and 240 posts RMOS.
The post will be filled through direct recruitment, an official said and added that the Ministry of Finance had provided a nod to recruit after the cabinet decision at the end of June.
The Jhargram Superspecialty Hospital will be used as part of a medical college.
In Arambagh, the construction of the Medical College campus is in the process of a full swing in the Arambagh Sub-Division Hospital complex.
Likewise in a barasat along with Jalpaiguri and Uluberia, the work has been accelerated by remembering the visit of the proposed NMC team.
