Kolkata: There are no plans to change the upcoming offline board test schedule in West Bengal for now, given the fact that the date decides about three to four months and the Covid-19 situation can increase at that time, the authorities said about Thursday.
Class 12 exam is scheduled to be held from April 2 to April 20 and grade 10 exams between March 7 and March 16.

The President of the High Middle Education Board, Chiranjib Bhattacharya, told PTI, “conducting an unworthy online exam.
A large number of students in rural areas will not be able to buy smartphones with high-speed internet.
We want to hold an offline exam.
There are no plans to change the current schedule.
”

He also said that the council was a hopeful student this year “no need to fight like those who do for the past two years”.

“We cannot predict the turn of events.
We can only hope everything will get better,” Bhattacharya said.
KalyanMoy Ganguly, President of the West Bengal Secondary Education Council, said it would not be wise to speculate about this inspection mode early.
“We will not think of an alternative evaluation criteria for now.
The settings to hold the offline test are in full swing,” he said.
Secondary examinations were held offline in 2020.
However, last year, the exam was called in the midst of the second wave of pandemics that went berserk.
Authorities must come up with alternative methods to evaluate students.
Higher secondary exams, which have begun by 2020 before the pandemic struck, was canceled in the midst of the pandemic, forcing the council to compile a formula to mark Mark for students.
In 2021, there was no examination held, with the authorities compiled a different evaluation criteria for students.
