Chennai: A migrant worker from West Bengal, who was involved in the murder case in July last year, was arrested from Saidapet by a special police team from West Bengal on Wednesday.
The defendant was identified as Ajijul Shaik.
He has escaped from his place of origin at Mangal Kohli, West Bengal, in July last year after learning that the police demanded him in connection with the murder.
Shaik was employed as a construction worker in a private builder and lived with his colleagues in a temporary temporary tent near the construction site.
The police tracked it through his cellphone number before his arrest.
They took him to West Bengal by train for further processes in murder cases.
