Gros-Islet (Saint Lucia): Hosein and Kevin Sinclair’s aheal spinners have been designed into the West Indies squad for the last two T20 against Australia, the selection committee was announced on Wednesday.
Hosein’s left arm spinner and off-spinner Sinclair came to troops instead of Shimron Hetmyer and Obed McCoy, who had a minor injury.
West Indies have won the first three matches to hold tin which cannot be denied in the five-match series.
West Indies has a 3-0 advantage that cannot be canceled in the CG Lima Insurance series.
“We made a decision to hit players who had taken some niggles and gave the opportunity to other players in the squad,” said the main voter Roger Harper.
“The team has played very well to win the first three matches and the series they play with good cricket in each department” the goal is to continue to build on the momentum made and try to win the remaining matches.
“Winning builds the trust of a team’s perspective and will give bigger belief players to the roles they play.
So it’s important to remain winning.” The match will be played under the lights at Darren Sammy Cricket Stadium on Wednesday and Friday.
West Indies will defend their World Cup title in the United Arab Emirates and Oman from October 17 to November 14.
