Western Australian state reopened to international students

Sydney: Western Australia State (WA) announced a new path for international students who have been registered to return to Australia even though there is a closed border.
The new lane announced on Tuesday enabled international students to register in elementary schools, secondary schools, universities, colleges and technical colleges, among others, to enter the state, the Xinhua news agency.
Safe! You have managed to throw your voteogin to see results that can fly directly to the country within the arrival boundaries set by the Australian Government, or indirectly with transit through state or other regions.
Students must bring evidence of a negative fast antigen test (mouse) within 24 hours before departure and isolation for seven days at the appropriate premise approved by the WA police or WA Department of Health after arrival.
All international students who arrive must be vaccinated with at least two doses or booster doses if they meet the requirements in their home country.
They also have to take a rat or PCR test within 24 hours after the arrival or PCR test on the sixth day or rat on the seventh day during the quarantine.
International education is one of the main industries in Australia, but the beginning of this year the authority of WA refused to allow students to return because of the health advice of Covid prevention measures, although some countries have welcomed international students.
Under the new path, up to 6,000 international students will be allowed to return to the country.
The WA government said that in accordance with renewed health advice, cohorts present low risk for the community, because many factors can give trust in quarantine regulation now.
“International students are an important part of the Western Australia community – make a positive contribution to the diversity and enthusiasm of the country, and support local work in various industries.
This new lane is part of our ongoing sustainable review of the month, based on the latest health advice,” said Wa Premier Mark McGowan.
International students who meet the requirements will also get a payment of 2,000 Australian dollars ($ 1,430) to help cover the cost of self-quarantine, according to the government.
