Mumbai: Western Railway (WR) has decided to introduce eight additional air-conditioned services in the suburban corridor between the Stretch Churchgate-Virar from November 22.
With the introduction of 8 new services, total AC services will increase from 12 No.
Up to 20.
Of these 8 services, 4 each service is in the upper and downstairs.
Two of these services will be at the top of the clock – one in both directions.
The first service for that day will depart from Virar for Churchgate at 8:33 a.m.
The last service will depart from Churchgate at 8:27 a.m.
for Nallasopara.
Sumit Thakur’s Public Relations Head said: “Insteadward, there are 4 services where someone is between Virar-Churchgate, two between Borivali-Churchgate and one between Goregaon – Church too, there are 4 services where someone is between Churchgate – Nallasopara, two between Cheresgate – Borivali and one between Churchgate & Goregaon.
As a result, two slow services between Churchgate -Bandra will be canceled.
With the number of Western suburbs will end up from 1,367 to 1,373.
