Chennai: wondering what the difficulty of making Hindi third language in educational institutions, the first bench of Madras High Court said on Tuesday that if someone did not learn Hindi, it would be very difficult to secure work in the north of India.
Chairman of the Acting Judge M N Bhandari and Justice P D Audikesavalu said this when the pill petition that tried to apply in Toto’s new education policy 2020 the central government appeared before today.
Safe! You have managed to throw your voter court in various cases on this problem.
Citing certain examples where the qualified people of Tamil Nadu have lost the opportunity to be employed in jobs in North India because of the lack of Hindi’s knowledge, said the chairman of acting “because it took work in the state of Tamil Nadu, there was no difficulty because the candidates spoke well with local languages (Tamil), but outside the country, they will face difficulties.
”
Chairman of the judging acting remembered that one of his brother judges could not get a job at the Indian airport authority because he did not know Hindi, even though it was chosen.
This is the biggest weakness for Tamil Nadu, he added.
When Advocate-General R Shanmugasundam replied that everyone in the state was free to learn Hindi through an institution such as Hindi Prachar Sabha, ACJ replied that ‘learning’ was different from ‘learning’.
When Shanmugasundam said the country followed two language systems (Tamil and England) as a policy, ACJ wondered what would be wrong if Hindi was introduced in a three-language policy.
AG replied it would be ‘overburden’ of students.
However, ACJ added that the only thing was to give the option to choose a language.
“Tamil and English are there.
I think adding a third language (Hindi) will not be dangerous,” ACJ said, acknowledging pills and ordered the issuance of notifications to the authorities concerned, could be returned in eight weeks.
