What expertise is needed to land work at Noida Airport? Zurich ag to share

Greater Noida: Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL) has asked Zurich Airport International AG, the concession holder that will build and operate the airport in the Jewar, to share the profile of the skills set needed to work in the aviation and sector sectors.
Nial plans to establish special skills development centers within six months and have identified land in sector 33 along the freeway Yamuna.
Officials say proposals have been sent to the state and land governments have been rented on the mission of the upper skill development.
“We are looking to accelerate the work to establish a skills development center in Greater Noida.
We are hopeful things will begin to come true within six months and training will be offered to youth interested,” said Chief Executive Officer Arun Vir Singh, who Also the Yeida CEO.
The training institution will act as a pivotal center for young people who want to find work in the flight sector.
Flight maintenance, non-flying roles such as Fueller, cargo handlers, baggage handlers, meteorological staff staff included in the course to be included.
Nodal officers Nial Shailendra Bhatia said some districts will be connected to the flight circuit in the coming years and the exclusive center will be asked to meet the demands of young people.
While the airport operates in seven locations – Lucknow, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Agra and Barilly – Airstrips are being developed in 14 other locations, including Moradabad, Shraivasti, Ambedkar Nagar, Ghazipur, Farrukhabad, Sonbhadra, Etawah, Lakhimpur Kheri, Jhansi, Jhansi, Kanpur Dehat, Azamgarh and Chitrakoot, under the regional connectivity scheme.
Some young people from gambling, who chose to take jobs under the resettlement scheme and rehabilitation, said they had no choice around their skills and found work in the flight sector.
“Nial has promised to give us training in August 2018.
Several sessions and classes were held in 2019, but no skills development or assessment work had been carried out over the past two years,” Vineet Kumar (26), from Delayanatpur Khera.
Kumar is one of 125 young men who have shown interest in finding work when their homes and land are obtained for the airport in 2018.
