CHANDIGARH: A variety of parents, pupils and school officials have been frustrated on receiving information of cancellation of Class XII board examinations in light of this Covid pandemic.
Some stated that the authorities should run an internet examination or delay examinations for an additional month.
Nitin Goyal, president, Chandigarh Parents’ Association stated they needed the CBSE to carry online examinations as children who’ve been working hard to get ready for the exams are somewhat frustrated.
“It is not reasonable to cancel the examinations every moment, this is impacting the quality of the individual resource we’re generating,” he explained.
H S Mamik, president, Independent Schools Association, Chandigarh inquired how pupils would receive admissions in schools and how could merit lists are created following conclusion of Class XII examinations.
“I want the whole decision was declared jointly, as to that which was suggested to be carried out.

Prerna Malhotra, a Class XII student of an exclusive college stated she had been quite disappointed with all cancellation of examinations this year.
“I’ve been preparing for your examinations afternoon and night for a few months and today, the examinations are cancelled.
How can I get entry in desirable college? I really don’t understand what machanism is going to be embraced by the authorities for admisisons.
It had been better to postpone examinations for yet another month but extrinsic examinations isn’t a solution,” she rued.
Sahil Thakur, another pupil, said elections can be run in five countries, why would examinations not be held today that Covid instances were off? He explained cancelling examinations would change the psychological state of pupils.
Mehak, yet another student studying at the school of Chandigarh stated he wasn’t responsible for conducting examinations in these types of problems.
She suggested that the authorities hold online examinations this season.
