WhatsApp reportedly planned to bring a cover photo like Facebook for business users.
As seen by Wabetainfo, users will be able to choose photos from the mobile gallery or click new to use as a profile cover image.
The report states that the ability to manage the cover photo is in development for the WhatsApp business.
This feature is not planned for the standard WhatsApp user account.
When the feature is activated, whatsApp business account users will see changes in profile settings.
WhatsApp will add a camera button in a setting that will allow the user to select a photo or take a new one to use as a cover photo.
Wabetainfo has shared a screenshot of the upcoming features of WhatsApp Business for iOS.
This feature is expected to be launched on the WhatsApp business for Android too.
It will first be available for beta testers before it is fully launched.
There is no feature launch time line.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp is launching a new update for Android users through the Google Play Beta program.

References for design changes have been found in previous beta updates for iOS and Android users.
The report also reveals that this platform adds sound waveforms to all participants during group calls.
Sound waveforms are similar to those that are seen in voice records.
