The Platform owned by Facebook WhatsApp adds a special payment button in the chat bar.
New shortcuts will allow users to quickly send payments directly from the Chat bar.
According to Wabetainfo’s report, shortcuts are under development.
Currently available for WhatsApp Android Beta Testers.
This shortcut is available as part of WhatsApp Beta for Android version 2.21.17.
At present, users must open the conversation sheet to send payment.
To access payments, users can click the attachment icon in the chat where it is available along with other options such as documents, locations, contacts, etc.
With a new shortcut, the payment button will be available in the chat bar itself, thus allowing someone to quickly send payment.

Currently being developed, these features will have a larger launch with future updates.
WHATSAPP payments have been developed in partnership with the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI).
It offers a real-time payment system with more than 227 banks and lives for all users throughout the country.
WhatsApp recently added new features for WhatsApp payments that allow users to add a background payment when sending money.
Users will be able to choose from various artsy expressions made by WhatsApp to complete payments on opportunities such as birthdays, holidays, or for gifts and travel.
