WhatsApp has reportedly started launching beta updates for new Windows applications.
Updates carry the application version up to 2,2203.3.0.
According to a report by Wabetainfo, Facebook’s platform improved several user interface elements by bringing animation with beta updates.
According to the report, WhatsApp adds a small animation to the settings icon at the top for beta users.
Animation comes after several application elements begin to follow the rules of the Windows UI 2.7 library after UWP update 2.2201.2.
According to the video shared by Wabetainfo, beta users will be able to see new animations when they tap the WhatsApp settings icon after installing the update.
It should be noted that users will see other animations when they navigate between WhatsApp settings.
Although it might look like a small update, this is the second beta update with a new user interface for the platform.
It implies that companies can take more changes in UI in future updates.
WhatsApp released a new application for the Windows operating system a few months ago.
This application is largely based on the web version of the platform and is available for download from Microsoft Store.
It is based on Universal Windows Platform (UWP) which means that the application can be synchronized in the background and receiving notifications even when not running.
Recently, the company also began launching new features that allow users to pause and continue voice recording.
This feature is only available for web users WhatsApp registered in the Beta program.
Previously, the user WhatsApp Beta web has a feature to listen to voice notes before sending it.
The new update is said to be an addition to that feature.
