WhatsApp is working on the new global voice note player that is expected to allow users to play voice records in the background, report XDA developers.
Currently, if you play voice notes in each chat on WhatsApp, the sound record stops playing if you return to the veranda list or switch to a new chat.
The report adds that the new voice note player appears at the top of the application after you play a voice note and navigate it again or go to a new chat.
Voice note players are also expected to come with the progress bar and may also have a button that allows you to pause, continue, and ignore voice records.
There is no official information about this change from WhatsApp so it is not known when it will be released on even the beta channel.
This new feature is in the development phase and is not available for beta testers in the latest beta whatsapp release.
The development of this global voice note player was first hinted in beta WhatsApp for iOS in October 2021.
This feature has not lived in iOS and the team responsible for the development of this global vote player has done it for months.
