WhatsApp now works on new features for iPhone Pand users reportedly testing the features “Look once” photos and videos for the iOS application.
Features, inspired by Snapchat, allows users to view photos and videos only once and then ‘deleted’ themselves.
According to Report by Wabetainfo, WhatsApp finally offers this to users of IOS Beta with the new application version – 2.21.140.9.
The “display once” feature is available for Beta WhatsApp Android users before.
Even though this feature might sound interesting, note that the person you send photos or videos can always save it by taking the screenshot.
WhatsApp does not prevent users from taking screenshot also does not tell the user when the recipient of the message has taken the screenshot.
After you send a photo or video to someone, it will automatically disappear from your cellphone and the recipient’s phone when it is opened once.
You will get a notification when the person has seen the content and will get the message “opened”.
Meanwhile, whatsapp can immediately allow users to send high resolution images.
Users will get the option to choose the quality of photos they want to share and you no longer have to be satisfied with compressed images.
There will be three options: automatic, best quality and data saver.
‘Automatic’ will be recommended by default.
‘The best quality’ will be a high resolution support which according to the screens will send a larger file size and may take longer to send.
Finally, there will be a ‘data saver’ that will compress the image before sending it.
