WhatsApp for Android is reportedly getting two new features with version 2.21.13.17 update.
The reported upcoming features are available to beta users currently and are expected to be rolled out to all Android phone users in the coming days.
With the new update, you will be able to forward sticker packs to your contacts.
However, only the sticker packs that have been downloaded from WhatsApp will be allowed to be forwarded.
Another change is mostly cosmetic.
WhatsApp has redesigned the voice note.
Instead of the straight line you get to see beside the play/pause button you will now see a waveform when the voice note is played, as per a report by WABetaInfo.
If you are already a WhatsApp beta user then you can download the new version to get these two features.
Meanwhile, Apple iPhone users are already able to forward WhatsApp sticker packs to their contacts.
To verify if the feature is enabled or not, one can open the WhatsApp Sticker Store and select a sticker pack to see its details.
If they see a forward button at the top of the sticker pack, it means the feature is available for that particular account.
Tapping on the forward button will allow users to select chats that they wish to forward the sticker pack to.
WhatsApp will then send a link to quickly view and download the sticker pack.
