Facebook Mouled Instant Messaging WhatsApp is working on a new voice message feature for its users.
Reportedly called the global voicemail player, it will allow users to listen to voice messages when they leave the chat.
This feature is reported by Wabetainfo, an online platform that tracks the upcoming WhatsApp feature.
At present, someone must remain open in the background if they want to listen to voice messages.
If they leave the chat, voicemail automatically stops playing.
This feature has been seen during the development of beta WhatsApp for iOS.
But it is very possible that the instant message platform will introduce it to Android users too.
How to work on new features per report, the global voicemail player will be pinned to the top of the application.
This will ensure that it is always seen when the user opens any application section.
Players will also allow users to pause and ignore voice messages anytime.
