WhatsApp is working on a new multi-device support feature that allows users to use WhatsApp on two smartphones.
As reported by Wabetainfo, a platform that tracks the upcoming WhatsApp feature, support is currently being developed.
After the feature is launched, the user will eventually be able to use WhatsApp on the second mobile device, he said.
At present, the Multi-Device WhatsApp feature allows someone to link whatsapp account to 4 devices and 1 phone.
The reader must note that the multi-device feature is currently available for beta users only.
It hasn’t been launched to all WhatsApp users.
What is the new feature feature? When the user links the second mobile device to their WhatsApp account for the first time, WhatsApp will synchronize the history of the chat.
The process will be encrypted end to end, Word of Wabetainfo in his report.
Next time the user opens WhatsApp on the second mobile device, WhatsApp will download all messages from the server.
This won’t need your main phone to connect to the internet.
Features, according to the report, is likely to be available for tablets and smartphones.
“It is not yet clear whether whatsapp will order this feature only for tablets (WhatsApp for iPad tablets and Android) or the cellphone is included, but there is no evidence that they will exclude the cellphone”, the report.
When is the launch feature? At present, features are under development on WhatsApp Beta for iOS.
The report said that Facebook’s platform was doing it for WhatsApp for Android too.
