New Delhi: Facebook-owned WHATSAPP has recently added end-to-end encryption support for chat reserves.
The company now plans to introduce new features for voice mail functionality.
As reported by Waretainfo, whatsapp can immediately get a sound transcription feature.
According to Wabetainfo, a Twitter account that traces the change of WhatsApp Build, the instant messaging application is developing a new sound transcription feature.
The new WhatsApp feature will allow users to transcode voice mail content.
At present, the transcription feature of voice messages is only visible for the manufacture of iOS applications.
Wabetainfo also suggested that sound data will not be shared with Facebook because these messages will be translateded by Apple.
“When a message is transformed for the first time, the transcriptions are stored locally in the WhatsApp database, so it will not be needed for the transcript again if you want to see the transcription later,” Word Waretainfo said.
This report also adds that this feature is optional and will require special permission.
Wabetainfo also revealed that this new sound transcription feature will help Apple in improving the recognition technology.
At present, there is no information about the official launch of the feature because it is still in the stage of development.
Last month, whatsapp launched chat transfer support for Samsung new folding phones, Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3.
This feature allows Apple iPhone users to move their history WhatsApp from iOS to Android on this phone.
Facebook owned companies have now expanded support for more Samsung phones.
Now available on Samsung devices running Android 10 or higher.
However, WhatsApp has announced that the same thing will also be available for other Android mobile users.
