WhatsApp plans to delete the list of broadcasts from the list of chat in the update in the future.
According to a report by Wabetainfo, a broadcast list will be available in your contact list.
Wabetainfo is an online platform that tracks new and upcoming WhatsApp features.
In the report, it is said that whatsapp plans to make a list of chat very clean and to do that, they need to remove certain UI elements.
At present, the ‘Broadcast list’ along with ‘new group’ is available at the top of the chat list.
Instant messaging application, in future updates, plans to move these two options to the contact list.
So when the user knocks on the ‘Start Christmas’ button on the top right, they will see both ‘broadcast lists’ and ‘new group’ in the contact list.
While the option to create a new group of ‘Start New Chat’ is available for users, the broadcast list will be a new addition there.
In the report, Leakter also has a screenshot on how the chat list is visible now and how it looks in the future.
These features, as mentioned earlier, are expected to come up with updates in the future.
There is no known release date.
In other news, whatsapp reported starts testing new features on iOS that display profile images in system notifications when users receive new messages from chat and groups.
It began launching for iOS beta testers WhatsApp that run iOS 15 and version 2.22.1.1 from the application.
