After launching a global voice note player for iOS users in the beta program, WhatsApp is now reported to work on new features for web users.
According to Report by Wabetainfo, WhatsApp has begun launching new features that allow users to pause and continue voice recording.
This feature is only available for web users WhatsApp registered in the Beta program.
Previously, the user WhatsApp Beta web has a feature to listen to voice notes before sending it.
The new update is said to be an addition to that feature.
Until now, you only get the option to delete or send a voice note after you start recording.
This platform also does not allow you to hear voice records before sending.
This new feature will help to share longer recordings and will also save time for users because they do not need to reconstruct voice records if some interference occur.
According to the screens that are shared by Wabetainfo, with updates, you will be able to see the new pause button at the Stop Icon.
The new button will allow you to pause the recording.
After you pause the recording, you will also be able to hear voice records and continue recording if you want to add more.
This feature is available for iOS users and is expected to be available for more users with upcoming updates.
As mentioned above, WhatsApp also recently released a global voice record player for iOS users in the Beta program.
This new feature allows users to listen to voice records in the background even if they swipe again or move to a different chat.
Currently the voice message stops when the user leaves a chat or special return to the chat list.
