WhatsApp has reportedly started launching a new beta update for iOS users.
According to Report by Wabetainfo, WhatsApp has sent new updates through the TestFlight Beta program, carrying versions of up to 2.22.2.72.
Further reports stated that with the latest beta updates, the company brought several settings to manage reaction notifications.
For those who do not know, Facebook’s platform is working on features similar to message reaction features on Facebook Messenger and Instagram.
Users on this platform can react to messages with emojis.
Until now, other features and functionality related to it have been seen in the previous beta update.
With the latest updates, this platform adds a feature that will allow iOS users to receive notifications every time someone reacts to their message.
According to the screen of the screen distributed by WabetainFO, the new ‘reaction notification’ option below the notification settings section will be seen by iOS users registered in the WhatsApp Beta program.
Moderate options in development and are not yet available for users but with similar options seen on various platforms it can be expected that the company will soon launch the reaction feature.
WhatsApp also reported redesigning group notifications for iPhone users.
According to the screen of the screen distributed by Wabetainfo, the Group message notification will mention if someone replied to your message or if someone had mentioned you in a message in the group together with a short message preview and group name.
Special reports state that this feature is only available for group chat and the company has not activated this feature for individual chat.
This feature is only available for people listed in the WhatsApp Beta program for iOS, but it is expected to be available for more users with updates in the future.
