WhatsApp has begun to launch the ‘View once’ feature.
Photos and videos sent in this mode can be seen only once.
The media sent will be lost from the chat once the user rejects photos / videos.
As reported by Wabetainfo, this feature is currently available for beta whatsapp tester.
It only takes refuge for Android devices.
It also has a screenshot to reveal how features function.
To send photos / videos in view once, whatsapp users need to first choose the media and tap the icon like the clock.
It will be available near the ‘Add Caption’ bar.
WhatsApp will tell the sender when the recipient opens the media.
After the media is opened, whatsApp will display the following message to the receiver: “This photo is set to see once.
For further privacy, this photo will disappear after you close it”.
Things you need to know before sharing photos or videos using the display after the report, Wabetainfo says that if the user disables read the receipt for these messages, the recipient will still see if you have opened the display of photos or videos.
However, the sender cannot see when the recipient opens the message.
For group chat, whatsApp users can still see when other participants open a photo that is expiration even if they have deactivated the read receipt.
If the recipient saves photos / videos or retrieving the screens / video catches, WhatsApp will not notify the sender because there is no screen catch detection.
Contacts blocked in a general group can still open photos and videos sent with the display feature once.
If the user sends a photo using a display once to someone who has not activated this feature, the display after the feature is still functioning and they can only see it once.
As mentioned above, this feature is available for Android users with WhatsApp version 2.21.14.3.
