WhatsApp currently offers end-to-end encryption for messages distributed on the platform.

Features, according to reports by Wabetainfo, are available in the latest beta WhatsApp.
WhatsApp has launched the Android version of Beta for 2.21.15.5 which carries end-to-end encrypted reserves.
Activating the feature will allow users to protect the history of chat and reserve media from unauthorized access.
How do encryption work? A user must choose a password that will be used to encrypt the backup in the future.
Passwords will be needed when you restore backup.
This can contain numerical numbers and lowercase letters between ‘A’ and ‘F’.
Features, however, will have a warning.
If the user forgets a password or loses a 64-digit recovery key, then it will be locked permanently.
In this case, even WhatsApp can’t help.
The Wabetainfo report said that the password would be personal and would not be shared with WhatsApp, Facebook, Google or Apple.
As mentioned above, this feature is currently available for WHATSAPP BETA Android users.
Those who are interested can register in the beta test group to try this new feature.

Meanwhile, the social messalging platform has launched a multi-device support feature.
Now live as an opt-in beta program and allows someone to use their telephone and up to four other non-telephone devices simultaneously.
This feature will allow someone to use WhatsApp on other devices even if the cellphone battery dies.
To connect the device, whatsApp users will be asked to scan the QR code from their cellphone.
“This process now requires biometric authentication before linking where people activate this feature on compatible devices,” said WhatsApp in a statement.
