Message platform and Meta-owned instant calls, WhatsApp has tested several new features recently.
A new report from Wabetainfo suggested that whatsapp was working on a message reaction similar to the Apple iMessage.
Wabetainfo has revealed several screenshot that suggested in the final stage of development while Meta already has similar features that are applied to other messenger platforms such as Messenger and Instagram and now, the company plans to bring the same on WhatsApp.
Those who do not know, message reactions allow users to knock and hold messages and react to it by choosing from a number of limited emojis such as thumbs up and down or sad, etc.
This is not the first time the WhatsApp reaction feature has appeared.
The first feature appeared last year, where it was said at the initial stage of development.
However, the screen catches recently confirmed that WhatsApp has come a long way and may soon start testing the features in the beta version.
Screenshot also reveals how this feature will be implemented on WhatsApp.
Just like Messenger, WhatsApp will have one emoji line to choose from the top of the message.
There are a total of six emojis – thumbs up, heart, face with joyful tears, faces with open mouths, crying and folded hands.
Users will be able to send a reaction by just knocking it.
Also, right now, it is not clear how to get these reactions, where the user must tap enough or press and hold.
