WhatsApp users get new shortcuts with beta updates
Written by news2in

WhatsApp has launched beta updates that bring new shortcuts for users.
Updates carry the application version up to 2.21.24.6 and add new shortcuts to start video calls quickly when viewing status updates distributed by other users, WetealFo revealed.
To access shortcuts, you can tap the three point icon in the upper right corner of the screen when viewing status updates and in the menu, you can find the “Video Call” option.
Shortcuts are only available for Android devices since now but are expected to be available immediately for iOS users too.
The previous platform added a shortcut that allows users to start voice calls with other WhatsApp contacts in the same part.
Users who still have beta updates 2.21.23 can get a voice call shortcut.
Shortcuts are not yet available in a stable version of the application for the Android and iOS platform.
A feature called message reaction is also working and has been seen by some users when the company allows it accidentally.
For that feature, the reaction notification option is also seen under the notification tab in the settings on the iOS application.
Now Wabetainfo reveals that the company also works on reaction notifications for Android applications with the latest beta updates.
Earlier this month, the platform added multi-device features for all beta users.
This feature allows users to access platforms on several devices even if there is no connectivity on the main smartphone.
Users can link a single WhatsApp account with up to four other devices.
This application no longer sends a warning about changes in the security code every time a new device is linked.
