WhatsApp has now announced that it will stop supporting phones that do not run Android OS 4.1 and above and iOS 10 and above.
If you use a smartphone that doesn’t run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean at least, which was released in 2011, then it’s time for you to update.
Just open the settings menu and check about the phone to see which version of Android runs your cellphone.
Talking about iPhone, WhatsApp will only work on iOS 10 and above.
Jiophone users don’t need to worry about whatsapp support.
WhatsApp has clarified that “Choose a telephone running KAOS 2.5.1 newer, including Jiophone and Jiophone 2” will continue to support the application of chat.
