Fans recently realized that this film also had Cindy Crawford playing the role of Dev Anand dead.
Yes, you read it right! In one of the scenes, Bollywood actor the iconic late sat on the yard with a photo of Cindy Framed beside him.
Aditya approached him to tell that it was the warning of his mother’s death, only to be corrected by Dev who said, “birthday of the death of our maternal,” pointing at the picture of Cindy.

Talking about it, Dev explained in Hindi, “like every year, this year too, I have put his favorite blue ribbon on his picture.
You remember he would tie the ribbon in his hair.”

On the occasion of Dev’s death, Aamir revealed in a setback interview with Mumbai Mirror which he did ‘Awwal number’ without reading the script.
He said, “Death Dev Sahab is an emotional setback and a big loss for our country.
He is an icon for many generations and entertaining us throughout his life.
The only film I signed without reading the script is the awwal number.”
