When college goes to the nomadic boy’s house

Vijayanagara: The Principal of the Government Polytechnic knocked on the door of a 16-year-old man from the Nomaden community who scored 90% in the SSLC exam and offered him the ticket to the Ballari district in Karnataka on Saturday.

The boy studied to Class IV in the local school and joined the Morarji housing school in the village of Nadvi Siruguppa Taluk for class V from where he completed class X where all costs borne by the government.
When the boy showed an interest in pursuing technical education but would stop because he could not raise money, the principal of Mallappa and Polytechnic College staff in Kudligi arrived at his home with the application form and officially admit it.
After learning that the principal had sponsored the three-year-old education at the Polytechnic, the Minister of Higher Education Karnataka Dr.
CN Ashwath Narayan convinced the son and the point that the government would bear the cost of education.
Mounesh said his education for the past five years was free and he was in a dilemma about sustainable studies.
“My parents almost didn’t just turn on the kitchen race.
This is my luck that Mal-Lappa sir and the Minister of Higher Education have extended support to me,” he added.
The older sister Hemavati rose 95% in the SSLC exam and now pursued art at a PU college and his brothers Chandrashekar and Mahesh were in class VIII and III.
His mother Sunkamma said, “Because we do not have a regular shelter or income, we cannot afford to buy my son’s higher education.
He has the opportunity to learn more thanks to the movement shown by the government and college.” Munesh, who chose Cybersecurity in the Diploma – He said he would bring him back to the community by encouraging poor students to continue their education.
