Kabir Khan has expressed a deep concern for the crisis that Afghanistan will go through the Taliban to take over the country.
Talking with the news portal, the filmmaker remembers the spinal cooling incidence of interaction with the Taliban.
He stated that they were interviewing several Taliban members in 2001 posted an incident of 9/11 and at the time, one senior Taliban member stared straight into his camera and claimed that they would return.
Kabir Khan added that the confidence of the person at the time sent his backbone and that the incident haunted him every time he remembered it.

Kabir Khan also revealed that his friends had sent SOS calls, but he could not help them.
He stated that his friend and actor Bashir had been forced to escape from his house and went underground when his house was searched by the Taliban.
Interestingly, Khan Khan began his journey behind the camera by making a documentary in Afghanistan, and his debut film ‘Kabul Express’ was also based in and throughout the country.
Expressing his concern for women in Afghanistan, filmmakers have previously told Etime, “women must be very scared because during the Taliban regime from 1996 to 2001 they target women.
They have stopped them from work, this is a country that always wares and has widows which is not allowed to leave home or work.
They become beggars but they are not even allowed beg.
They will be beaten if they come out on the streets, girls are stopped from getting education.
It’s almost like a laboratory for a female oppression.
They are not allowed to leave the house unless accompanied By a father, brother or husband.
There are women who I know who suffer from skin diseases because for five they have never had a sun on their skin.
