New Delhi: In a rare meeting in Parliament, Women and the Minister of Development of the Irani Smriti Children on Friday answered Congress Questions Rahul Gandhi at Lok Sabha.
Both are rivals outside the parliament in the constituency of Amethi Lok Sabha.
The Irani smriti has defeated Rahul Gandhi in Amethi in the Sabha 2019 election.
Congress leader, who was also contested from Wayanad in Kerala, won and entered Lok Sabha.
In a rare coincidence, both are connected at Lok Sabha.
During the question and answer hours, the Irani smriti made a written reply to the questionless question Rahul Gandhi who was related to workers and assistants who came under the ministry of developing women and children.
Rahul asks whether workers and assistants have received additional incentives for additional Covid tasks carried out by them and, if so, details.
In another question, he wants to know whether the Ministry of Smriti has received complaints about violence against workers’ warriors during the pandemic.
In the last part of the question, he asked whether a large number of vacancies for Children’s Development Projects (CDPO) and Wanwadi Supervisors lay empty throughout the country.
Replying to his questions, Smriti said as a coaching service of a sponsored scheme, which was carried out by the state and the Union (UTS) area, the government had issued instructions to them to make all possible settings to provide safety equipment such as masks, sanitisers and likes workers Angganwadi, Assistant Angganwadi and Ashas in the Covid-19 pandemic situation.
Also, the Angganwadi centers are closed due to Covid-19 pandemic so they can control the spread of the virus, he said.
He further said the government had increased the honorarium from October 1, 2018.
Apart from the honorarium and other incentives paid by the center, each country and UTS also provided monetary incentives to these workers.
Various state governments are compensated by AWW and AWHS from their own resources for Covid-related activities, he said.
Regarding violence, Smriti said there was no country that reported such an incident to his service.
“However, it is the task of state administration to ensure Awws / Ahhs security and security.” Regarding vacancies, he said from time to time, the state and UTS were advised to fill the position of approved staff who lay empty for the implementation of an effective scheme.
“Furthermore, directions and advisors have been sent to America and UTS to recruit personnel based on contracts until the job is filled regularly,” he said in the answer.
