Nagpur: Inspection together by Taluka Land Record (TLR) officials and the Ministry of Forestry to ensure illegal logging from 59 teak trees in the Navegaon forest compartment in the Alegaon Range under the Akola Forest Division on Sunday when the Whistleblower was brutally attacked.
Reticle Range Forest Officer (RFO) KD Shriwas and Deputy Sarping Pahadsinghi Uttam Khule has launched a hunger strike on December 22, 2021, against illegal logging of 59 trees.
The strike was called after the local MLAS intervention in the field that TLR would make a shared inspection to ensure facts.
As planned, shared inspections are carried out on Sundays.
Whistleblower Khule is called in place through notification but is not allowed to be part of the inspection.
