President Joe Biden last week introduced the federal vaccine mandate aimed at employees of large companies and all federal workers and contractors.
Mandate faces legal challenges.
Biden told reporters when he returned to the White House he had seen “positive support for the mandate, in general,” even though he admitted that there would always be a small percentage of people how would refuse to get shots.
Biden said he would meet a big employer on Wednesday in the White House to discuss the issue issue.
The previous vaccine mandate in the United States was largely introduced by the state and local governments, and related to public spaces and schools.
