New Delhi: After a day of discussion and back and forth, the congress on Sunday chose the leader of Dalit-Sikh Chararjit Singh Channi as the chairman of the minister of the new Punjab.
Channi will replace captain Amarinder Singh, who has resigned as the main minister on Saturday after months of chaos in the state unit.
Channi will be the first Minister of Punjab.

Amarinder, who has resigned from the ministerial main post on Saturday, said he hoped that Channi was able to keep the punjab border safe.

* Channi is known as a good hand ball player who has many awards under his belt.
He also represents Panjab University three times in handball and receives a gold medal in a sports meeting between universities.

BJP’s IT cell head Amit Malviya tweeted a report on old news and said that Channi faced Ineye’s action on Punjab polling over the Congress decision to choose Channi as the new tone of new political nuances because of the crucial assembly election next year.
There is speculation that the congress can choose the face of Dalit-Sikh as the main minister or deputy minister of head to balance the caste equation before the state poll.
Previously today, the leader of the Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa congress was said to be a solar for the post because some MLA had proposed his name.
Like the Head of the Punjab Congress Navjot Singh Sidhu, Randhawa is the leader of Jat-Sikh.
However, Channi emerged as a black horse after the last minute deliberation by the Congress High Command in the National Capital.
