New Delhi: Decision on Covid-19 Vaccine Bharat Biotech, Covaxin Emergency Use (EUL) by the World Health Organization (WHO) is expected in October, told the best health experts in the country on Saturday.
Speaking to Ani, experts say that vaccine approval should not be postponed after reviewing data.
“Globally, this world needs a vaccine and we must ensure that this is a global war, and many countries are still not vaccinated.
So we have to ensure that our vaccine must get approval on time,” said Dr.
Naveet Wig, Chairperson of the Covid Task Force for AIIMS , Delhi.
“Who will give approval immediately after it is a ‘vaccine killed’ that has been previously approved also with other names of other countries,” he added.
Previously on Friday, Dr.
Randeep Guleria, Director, AIIMS, Delhi said, “We hope now with all the data in and research that has been done, it will occur immediately rather than a late.” “Delaying authorization of Emergency Use (EUA) will affect India, especially students and who has an international travel plan.
EUA is important because, without EUA, Covaxin will not be considered and accepted throughout the country,” he added.
.
Strategic strategic advisory group about immunization (Sage) will hold a meeting on October 5 about EUL to Covaxin.
