New Delhi: The approval of the World Health Organization for the Indigenous Covid-19 vaccine, developed by Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech, is likely to come this month, the official source said Monday.
WHO has a covid vaccine that was approved so far being developed by Pfizer-Bontech, As Pharma majoring in Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, China’s Sinopharm and Oxford-Astrazeneca for emergency use.
Covaxin is one of the six vaccines that have received authorization of emergency use from Indian drug regulators and is being used in national inoculation programs, along with Covishield and Sputnik V.
