Letter: Coming from the Middle Class Family Sapna Kumari Randhawa managed to make a sign by choosing the T20 Women’s challenger trophy in 2010.
Representing the Indian Blue Women’s team at BCCI Tourney, Randhawa rubbed the shoulder with HarmanPreet Kaur and Jhulan Goswami.
But on Friday, Randhawa crashed into headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Randhawa’s family currently lives in Kangra from Himachal Pradesh.
Those who knew Randhawa said that he was interested in cricket from a young age.
With the time of his hobby developed into passion and after playing cricket at the local level, he was chosen for the BCCI tournament for Himachal Pradesh and took 18 Wickets.
In the 40 matches one day he took 32 goals while in the T20 format he took 21 goals in 24 matches.
As a member of the Indian Blue Women’s team in 2010, he played three matches at the MeMera Stadium, which is now known as the Narendra Modi Stadium.
