BENGALURU: Providing Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) promptly after arrival has the capacity to save as much as 1,50,000 lives annually throughout the world, in comparison with the present recommendation to launch it just when a kid is secure, says a new study set out by the World Health Organization.
The multi-centre clinical trial analysis was printed in the New England Journal of Medicine on Thursday.

But currently, just Safdarjung Hospital contains mother-newborn ICUs.
