Geneva: World Health Organization (WHO) sought to revive investigations of the origin of Covid-19, said US media reports.
World Health Body assembles 20 scientists for hunting new evidence, Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported.
According to the WSJ report, the new probe came after the initial investigation found that the data provided by Chinese scientists was not enough to answer the key question about the origin of the virus.
The report stated that the team of new scientists, which included specialists in laboratory safety and biosecurity and experts at geneticists, could be charged with checking whether the new virus emerged from the lab, as well as a broader question into the risk of viruses and relations with human behavior.
Who believes that this new initiative will help accelerate the risky probe of running out of time, and blood samples from the victims of the initial virus become cannot be used.
Previously in August, the US has released reports that track the origin of the Covid-19 virus.
While rejecting the report, Beijing has submitted a representation of Khakmat with Washington which filled the report as “fully political, and has no diversity and credibility.” In a very statement that reads, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Ma Zhaoxu said the US must “stop poison” international cooperation about the search for viruses and return to the right track of the search for scientific origins and cooperation in the war against a pandemic.
SUMMARY The report declassified states that the US intelligence community (IC) considers that the origins of the novel Coronavirus disease may not be definitively identified without additional information.
According to the report, the US intelligence community is still shared about which of the two theories – that the virus comes from a laboratory leak or that it surges from animals to humans, of course.
There is a consensus among intelligence institutions that the two theories that apply reasonable, the report said.
The WHO led scientist team traveled to China in early 2021 to investigate the origin of the virus that struggled to get a clear picture of the research of what China was doing before, facing obstacles during his visit, and had a little power to do thoroughly and impartial research.
