Geneva: The World Health Organization Officer (WHO) said on Friday they hoped to hold a meeting immediately to establish guidelines about the use of Covid-19 antivirus pills, said they offered “very interesting” new prospects for clinical care.
England became the first country to approve one of the potential pills to change the game earlier this month.
Janet Diaz, high-ranking officials for clinical care response, said that the guidelines for meeting group meetings would consider Covid Pill questions in the meeting that will come in three weeks.
Another official Mike Ryan said the initial findings in the pill were “very, very welcomed”, adding that “careful process” is not needed before therapy must be broader expanded therapy.
“Obviously, having a second row approach to be able to treat those infected is very interesting and able to save lives that way is very interesting,” he said.
Last week Pfizer Inc.
(PFE.N) said the experimental antivirus pill was to treat Covid-19 Cut of 89% of inpatient opportunities or death for adults with the risk of severe illness.
