Nagpur: occasional waterlogging because rain can be understood, but repeated instances mean something wrong.
Nagpurians have begun to suffer from infrastructure rubber that looks disabled in the city like after rain on Tuesday who saw many busy traffic intersections.
For relief Corporation Municipal Nagpur, water flows out before the top traffic hours in most intersections – except Shankar Nagar Square, the new moniker stormwater drainage system is blocked by Nagpur.

“The rain sinks Tuesday morning once again flooded Shankar Nagar Square and forced traffic to move at a slut speed,” said N Pramod, a local resident.
Officials of the Public Health Engineering Department claim that the State Public Works Department, which has done a cement work from the University Campus Square in Amravati Road to Rani Jhansi Square, has damaged the Stormwater network near Shankar Nagar Square.

Road concrete work also clogged many inlet from the Stormwater network which resulted in the accumulation of water in the knee at this intersection, he said.
According to officers, NMC has several occasions bringing this to the notification of PWD state officials, including Superintending Engineers Vidyadhar Sardeshmukh.
But there was no effort made to solve the problem, he claimed.
Even though the Stormwater drain was part of any path, PWD ignored him when building a road, the official said.
