Last month, Google began launching a stable version of the Chrome 96 Web browser for PCs and smartphones.
Updates are in work for some time now.
This new version brings several changes and increased browsers but Android users must wait before installing the latest updates on their devices.
This update is reported to cause problems with the application on Android devices.
According to a report by 9To5Google, more than 60 problems about Chrome 96 are marked on Google’s bug trackers.
Some users in the Google Support Forum have reported that some applications on their Android smartphone cannot load after installing the latest Chrome update.
“I have restarted many times and have cleared the cache but only a few applications load.” Users write in the forum.
Users have mentioned that Google Apps specifically faced the problem after installing Chrome 96.
Google has recognized the problem and has convinced users that it works to solve it.
“Thank you for raising this problem to our attention because it cannot launch the application after updating to M96 stable.
Our team is aware of this and we work quickly to solve this problem.” Write Chrome Support Manager.
Although the company began launching updates last month, it was widely released to a large number of users last week.
Chrome 96 brings support to cache forward forward for the desktop version.
With this feature, the browser will save data from a frequent or recently visited website to make navigation through them faster.
Apart from this, the browser also gets the dark theme mode of a new site that allows users to activate the dark theme for certain websites.
With updates, the company also stops the synchronization feature for Chrome users who still use the M48 browser version or before.
For those who do not know, Chrome synchronization features on the browser save passwords, bookmarks, search history, open tabs and preferred settings on the company’s server.
This feature helps you access all information stored on various devices using the same Google account.
It also helps you automatically enter Gmail, YouTube, and other Google services.
