New Delhi: After destroying a gender barrier and directing the entry of women’s candidates at the National Defense Academy (NDA) which was previously allowed only for men, the Supreme Court has agreed to check the request to let women compete for all seats to enter without placing the limit on the number of women who will Registered.
Judge Sanjay Kishan Kiss and MM Sundresh on Tuesday searched for a response from the center after the court was told that only 19 of the 400 seats were given to women’s candidates last year and in the current year, the same number of women would be given acceptance.
The court said the chair was limited to allocated for women’s candidates last year because there was no infrastructure to meet the needs of women’s candidates on campus.
When the government has convinced the court to increase the intake of female candidates in stages, the court is looking for an explanation from Aish Hewayra Bahti’s additional lawyer who appeared for the center.
Bhati said the intake of female candidates was not related to infrastructure problems and it depends on style needs.
He agreed to submit a statement that gave an explanation to the court.
The court issued a notification to the center that gave him three weeks to provide an explanation of “limited” the entry of female candidates in NDA.
