Why this GZB village overcame his reluctance to get shots

Ghaziabad: People from several rural bags in the district where the Ministry of Health and Administration feels difficult to drive vaccination because of low footsteps, now forward to take Jab.
Before the second wave barrier, the inoculation camp must be stopped in villages such as Tyori and Kalcheena in the Bhojpur block, officials said, because most residents worried that the vaccine would have serious side effects and did not take Jab.
But like many rural areas, these villages also see some deaths and for most residents, this fear has made them think of getting a vaccine.
“There was no one day when the death of four five was not reported.
Now, everyone wants to be vaccinated.
Some myths associated with vaccines have been damaged and drive consciousness is being carried out by many people, including religious leaders,” said Abrar Chaudhary, retired Havildar army from Tyori.
Tyori was divided into two parts – Tyori 13 Bustwa who had a population of around 8,000 and Tyori 7 could have around 4,000 residents.
According to officials, 98-99% of the population is still to get a single dose of vaccines.
“Death, not only in our village, but also in some parts of the city and throughout the state has made people think of vaccinated.
Many of our acquaintances and relatives who were initially reluctant to now say they want a vaccine,” said Abdul Khaliq from Tyori.
Even though people want to take Jab now, vaccine stocks are not enough.
“Inoculation camps are not held in this area.
Getting a slot through co-Win is almost impossible for the local community.
Recently, some residents traveled to the Bhojpur Primary Health Center, about 10 km away, to get themselves vaccinated.
Two weeks Then, when I told the local primary health center responsible for the desire of people to get a vaccine, I was told that the camps would be held here after July 1.
However, nothing happened so far, “said Astrar Afroz’s nephew.
Afroz, which is a block coordinator for the central government’s Swachh Bharat mission, and family members are among several people in the village who have taken both vaccine doses.
Riyasat Ali, a block program officer at the Bhojpur Primary Health Center, said most people also tried to stay away from the Covid test that was afraid of the results positive.
Many in Tyori have symptoms like Covid, but no one wants to be tested, he added.
“I think the lack of information is one of the main reasons.
People are easily influenced by whatsapp messages and social media posts that are mostly not based on facts.
The fear that the infertility causes vaccine is the main reason behind the reluctance between people to get Shot, “he said.
Unicef and the local health department have carried out awareness programs throughout Ghaziabad in an effort to eliminate the fear.
“Instead of vaccine doubts can be seen among certain community members.
There are many villages and urban bags where this problem can be seen.
We take assistance from local public representatives and religious leaders to spread awareness,” said Mohammad Shadab, Unicef District Coordinator , Ghaziabad.
“Some people think that they can get another disease after taking Jab, others believe the different vaccines are given in the city and in the countryside,” Shadab added.
The head of the Ghaziabad medical officer Dr.
NK Gupta said the micro plan was prepared for each region in the district and all places will be borne immediately.
“Drive vaccination will be held in Tyori and other villages soon.
In recent months, we have worked intensively to make people aware of the vaccination process and reduce doubts,” he added.
