Letter: A 30-year-old widow was persecuted by his colleague when he was alone in his cabin in the Katargam textile unit.
When the unit owner did not take action against coworkers, women and family members filed complaints at the Katargam police station.
The police have registered a violation of the defendant and then investigated this problem.
According to the police, after his husband’s death, a 30-year-old widow, along with two daughters, moved to his father’s place in 2020.
Three more months he began working in the textile unit in the same area.
On Monday morning around 9 in the morning, he reached the office.
Meanwhile, a colleague, Ranjaj Pande, entered the cabin and began to persecute the woman.
The woman managed to escape and rushed to the owner’s unit complaining about Pande.
But there was no action taken against the defendant.
Then, the woman told her family members about the incident and they decided to file a complaint against Pande at the Katargam police station.
The police have registered a violation under the relevant IPC section.
